I am a long time resident of Highlands County and proud to be a Army Brat as well as an Army Mom.

With children in 3 age categories and a full time care giver to my aging eldest brother, my passion for person(s) is equally matched with many others. We strive to put the best interests of others along side or above ourselves.

Watching my brother age and fall victim to the sentance of the un-insured and un-insurable has given me a vast working understanding of todays disabled and disadvantaged.

As a mother, daughter, sister and aunt to those that have so graciously served us in the Armed Forces, I am a staunch supporter of Veterans Rights.

As a parent, I wish for only positive experiences for our children and as a person I pray each day for peace. Not just to feel it but to know it.

If this forum can bring together ideas and potential improvements on those ideas, than count me in. If this is to be a place of blame only, then leave me out of the picture.

Each of us is part of the problem and it will take each of us to be a part of the solution.

With that being said, I look forward to hearing your ideas, problems and solutions in the future.
