Earnest Graham did a superb job last year and deserves more regular playing time than his previous years. Michael Bennett is a speedster capable of breaking ‘the big one’ anytime he has space. Warrick Dunn brings veteran leadership and awareness in the backfield.

Carnell Williams is recovering from a possible career threatning injury.

Guys, when we drafted Cadillac Williams, I was so excited because we had drafted a premier possibly game changing running back. His first year, he put up solid numbers and won rookie of the year behind a weak offensive line. “Pound That Rock” didn’t appear out of thin air.

Watching his feet move and legs churn out yards that eventually broke into 65 yard touchdowns was, as a fan who has yet to have a ‘career’ offensive superstar rise with the team; satisfying.

Willis McGahee suffered a knee injury similar to Caddy and he returned to be a productive NFL running back.

Be grateful for a decent three headed running back tandem, but don’t forget Cadillac.

I look for Caddy to make a strong comeback, he is young and has incredible confiedence, Also I can’t wait to see him running behind our now offensive line. Look at what he did as a rookie, (Romen Odem last year) after that year our offensive line was horrible. I look for him to be back by the 6th game of the season and to have a better recovery than Willis Maghee!!!! Watch out for Caddy

I’d like for Caddy to sit out at least half the season, but he should come back bigger, and stronger.  Lets not get carried away as well Mcgahee is bigger and faster than caddy was to begin with and not everyone heals the same.  Graham did a great job, but I’m not sold on him as a starter.  Dunn makes a good locker room presence, but I don’t look for anything more than that.  Bennett is a good change of pace back but if I have to choose between a combo of Caddy and Graham or Graham and Bennett I’ll take the first option.  Unfortunately we have to wait and see how Caddy comes back, but next year could wind up drafting a running back.  I would’ve loved for the Bucs to be in a position to take Mendenhall this year since he looks like everything Gruden wants in a back.

I absolutely believe in Cadillac’s return.  The Bucs should not give up on him, even if he doesn’t come back this year.  I was only semi-excited when Tampa drafted him, but he made a believer out of me.  I think he probably would have had a great year, possibly one of the best for a Buccaneer, had he not gotten injured.  He has motivation to come back and prove that he was worth that #4 pick.  I believe in him.
