Marve verbally commited to Bama now they dont need to watch him but scouts need to watch garcia.

Planthigh the only reason Jefferson ran onside kicks during that game was because Sickles was doing things like going for it on 4th and 10 from there own 10. They did alot of things like that during the game just so he would not get the record, and he still did.

Seriously, people need to stop giving Plant crap for supposedly padding Rob’s stats. Its kind of hard to take out your quarterback when your backup is out for the rest of the season and the other is being used as a wide out and has been playing DB the whole game. The kid needs a break. Of all people Garcia should be the one everyone is pointing fingers at. And a lot of people don’t realize how far Marve has come. For those who say ‘I’ve seen him play, he didn’t impress me.” When’d you see him? His sophomore year? Last year? He’s improved a LOT since then. And the spring game? Come on. Garcia could have had an average game at sickles and would have gotten it against plant. I totally agree with what they did, due to them not wanting to go into the district championship game with a distraction like that. Also I believe Plant is Jeffersons last game before the playoffs. A little comment about the game itself, I really think the two teams are pretty even in alot of areas except one and I think you guys know which one I mean. (my opinion) If jeffersons O-line holds up and gives Garcia time I think its Jeffersons game if they don’t I think it is Plants. When Jefferson played armwood I think Garcia ran well but way too many times due to the lack of protection.

OK all you Marve or Garcia lovers… here’s the thing. Garcia is a talented athlete. He has broken the county passing record… THEY GUY HAS BEEN PASSING FOR ... WHAT? THREE YEARS!!!! When all a team does is pass the ball, of course the QB is going to rack up the yardage. But, look, take nothing away from Garcia who will play and shine at the next level. Nice kid, too. But he will go down as the best quarterback never to win the BIG ONE. He couldn’t beat Armwood. He couldn’t win a district title against Plant two years running, and he couldn’t win at state. ‘nuff said.
