MLUV is effusive with: No, I didn’t miss Judge Moore’s case in Alabama.  And if you will remember, us Christians were in SUPPORT of him!  I wish more Christians had been there.  He’s one of the few Christians that has ‘cajones’ and stand up for what he believes.  The Christians were not there to stop any other religion from practicing the way they want.  Big difference.

SH: The rubes who camped out in support of augmenting a United States Courthouse with a specific religious instructional guide were of course working to promote their religious beliefs at the expense of other Americans who don’t share those beliefs.  Forunately, the federal appeals court voted 7-0 to remove the offensive monument and to restore the equal rights for all who might have business in this United States courthouse.

It’s admittedly not too tough legally to smak down those who wish to mangle the Consittution of the USA.  But watching their mystified looks and constitutional confusion does provide some respite from the woes of any given day.

=======
MLUV If you don’t want to recognize that you feel hate, but RATHER it’s less (what you say anyway) intense form, which is “detest”, then I say to you, you’re only kidding yourself!  NO difference.

SH: Projecting again, I see.  Please believe me when I tell you that it’s not only possible to live without hate in your life, it’s strongly encouraged by the Master Teacher, Jesus Christ, among many others.

Try it, you’ll like it.

=======
MLUV: Also, if you feel that you live yout life in a zen like state than hurray for you.  Unfortunately, that’s not reality for the rest of us.

SH: I gotta admit it’s pretty good most days, thanks.  I invite you to try it for as many minutes as you can stand it.  Next thin you know, the minutes become hours, the hours become days and before you know it, you’ll be wondering why it ever seemed “real” to practice hate as a choice in thinking.

1.  I have no idea what a ‘rube ‘ is, and frankly don’t care to.

2.  Offensive monument?  Two things about that comment surprises me.

3.  Who’s projecting?

4.  The only thing I see being mangled are my posts by you and others.

5.  I’ve explained my position so many times now, I don’t care anymore.  Please by all, means believe what you want.

And lastly, not to “smack” you down, but there are those of you who do not want to converse but wish to argue instead.  Go for it my friends.  But do it without me.

I don’t think anyone wants to argue with you and nobody is. I think the fact that you readily accept hate as something normal and ok and yet you claim to be a Christian is simply mind blowing. From what I’ve heard about the bible, that’s not something that is accepted or taught. I simply cannot imagine going through life thinking that it’s ok to hate and then when somebody says you don’t have to go through life that way it’s your choice, you defend it and rationalize it. It’s like you enjoy hating things and you don’t ever want to change.  I guess my attraction to this thread is simply amazement and I sincerely hope that other religious people are not as accepting of the worst possible learned emotion known to man. That’s what scares me. I’ll have to ask some of my religious friends what their views are. I have several, some more religious than others and none have ever given the impression that you have.

The only thing I’m going to say to this is that, you have completely misinterpreted what my meaning is and what I’ve been trying to say for what seems like forever.

We are going in circles, and not to rebuff you, but I just don’t know how else to explain it.  I would suggest rereading my prior posts, with a different perpespective in mind.  I couldn’t spell it out anymore than I already have.

This has gotten so blown out of proportion.  And it’s ok with me.  Way more important things as far as I’m conerned with.

SIC quotes this from another post

“Oh and I’m gonna guess that like me, Mac has also learned that while we usually dig hearing a lady cry, “Don’t stop!”, we’re less down when they yell, “Don’t! Stop!”

I’ve got a pretty good imagination and I know how to activate the X-rating with just a blink (or two...heh).

But like nearly all men, I can’t think of much less interesting than trying to make love to a female who doesn’t want to play today.

Well, maybe trying to work it in a bed with a lady who sleeps with two or three dogs.....but that’s another thread for another day and better placed in the CURIOUS RITUALS forum.”

- I find your views on any topic hypocritical when you consider yourself a Christian. Yet you have proven in not just this typical example of your hypocrisy but in other mindless posts you have submitted. But being in your heaven you turn on your X-rating with your “pretty good” imagination is not the Heaven Jesus Christ is referring to. You make a mockery out of Christianity but trying use it to back your views and comments. You condemned Jerry Falwell because according to you he was gluttonous, one of the 7 deadly sins. Remember? It’s pitiful, but you did it anyway. Yet, to no surprise you admitted to committing lust. A sin in the eyes of Jesus Christ. I know you will come up with some witty little response to justify yourself and your comments, and go for it. You have proven to me Jesus isn’t in your heart and you just speak words and the bible does warn of people such as yourself. The false teachers of Christ. I admit we all have faults and sins in our lives and as a Christian I am the chief sinner. BUt I beg for forgiveness everyday even-though it’s already given and I genuinely feel remorse for my sins. You have boasted about yours continually and I pray you sincerely find the Lord and the Kingdom in which you claim to have. I suggest you spend some personal time with the Master Teacher you claim you follow and ask Him if He would condone your comments. My Jesus would not.

NGUY breaks his earlier vow (to never respond to a post from me) with: - I find your views on any topic hypocritical when you consider yourself a Christian.

SH: Hi!

Thanks for sharing.

-----
NG: But being in your heaven you turn on your X-rating with your “pretty good” imagination is not the Heaven Jesus Christ is referring to.

SH: Knowing how to flip a switch and flipping it are two distinct actions.

=====
NG:  You condemned Jerry Falwell because according to you he was gluttonous, one of the 7 deadly sins.

SH: Nonsense.  I never once condemned Falwell.  I hope his future incarnations are blessed.  I simply noted the irony of his being a staunch preacher for post-life Burning Hell and he himself was an unrepentant glutton.

Since I don’t believe in a post life Burning Hell, there’s no way I could condemn Mr. Falwell to such a fate.  But clearly, based on his own preaching, “HE” believed in such a fable, so let’s hope the flames don’t blacken his own butt too soon.

====
NG:  You have proven to me Jesus isn’t in your heart and you just speak words and the bible does warn of people such as yourself.

SH: lol...Clearly not your own version, no.

====
NGUY: I admit we all have faults and sins in our lives and as a Christian I am the chief sinner.

SH: No way, dude.  Go easy on yourself.  There’s plenty of folks far more twisted than any bent you might display.

NG: BUt I beg for forgiveness everyday even-though it’s already given…

SH: WOW...that sounds pretty irrational, but don’t let me get in your way.

=====
NG: You have boasted about yours continually and I pray you sincerely find the Lord and the Kingdom in which you claim to have. I suggest you spend some personal time with the Master Teacher you claim you follow and ask Him if He would condone your comments. My Jesus would not.

SH: I’m really not sure what all that last paragraph was about, but at least we agree that I’m most likely not hanging with “Your Jesus”.

Someone said that we should call April 1st the Atheist holiday. That’s peachy, because then we could no longer call it April Fool’s Day. In keeping with the secularization of the other religious holidays, so to not offend anyone, we could rename it “Spring Break.” If anyone confused it with the former holiday known as “Easter,” we could simply say “take your pick.” That way, everybody is celebrating and nobody is upset.

Like I said you would do you try and justify your views and comments by playing on words and hiding behind your false teachings.  You judge people.  Falwell is a prime example.  It doesn’t matter how you word it or when you say one is a glutton and speak harsh things about him you are judging.  And no, we don’t serve the same God.  My God doesn’t condone lustful thinking and the Master Teacher you “claim” you follow doesn’t either.  Jesus says repent of your sins, yet like i said you boast of your sins.  But the good thing is I know that God isn’t that wayand I know we can’t be in Heaven whenever we feel like it either.  Being the Kingdom of Heaven is in us continually.  That is from the Master Teacher.  Your preacher should have told you that.  But yes, I broke my “vow of silence”, because in true retrospect, your views are baseless and irrelevent and are hardly ever accurate.  So that led me to the thinking of you are just here to get under peoples skin, again not a Christian quality but God knows where you truly stand on that.  So good luck with sarcastically belittling peoples comments in hopes of making yourself seem enlightened and carefree.  Eventhough it’s tired act.

NGUY gives me a Wag of the Finger:  And no, we don’t serve the same God.

SH: Actually, I’ve never suggested that I “serve” any God.  She doesn’t need that from me.  She suggests that I extend my service to my fellow man.  Doing my best, what can I tell ya?

NG: My God doesn’t condone lustful thinking and the Master Teacher you “claim” you follow doesn’t either.

SH: Was Jesus a homosexual or one who lusted, perhaps after Mary Magdelene? We’ll never know.

NG:  Jesus says repent of your sins, yet like i said you boast of your sins.

SH: Not really.  My errors in thinking & action don’t merit any boasting.  They’re really little different from most folks.

NG: But the good thing is I know that God isn’t that wayand I know we can’t be in Heaven whenever we feel like it either.

SH: I believe that YOU believe that for YOU.  Our personal experience demonstrates otherwise.

NG: But yes, I broke my “vow of silence”, because in true retrospect.....

SH .....internet chat forums are often like potato chips....SO GOOD and hard to resist taking Just One More Bite.  I feel ya, brother.

NG: , your views are baseless and irrelevent and are hardly ever accurate.

SH: Ah, quit kidding around.

NG:  So that led me to the thinking of you are just here to get under peoples skin,

SH: ewwww, that sounds uggy.  How about we think of it more as a buss of the cheek or honk of the nose?  And so far you’e the only one who’s been willing to stick your nose out where I can pinch it.

Ya, I think that they do act Retarded.

Just for the pure heck of it Peggy, please explain who you are referring to in your statement.  Please.

I must admit other than a little nana boo boo, you both seemed to keep things quite civil regarding a very emotional subject. I have just recently become involved in these forums and enjoy everyons opinion especially you two, katerpunk, and nightbiker. You are all very thoughtful and intelligent people and your comments always make me think which in my opinion is the whole reason for these forums. I just think it’s great that we can do this without offending anyone and I hope I can continue to enjoy reading all your comments for a long time!

Thanks.

Hi DOG…

“SH” are my initials.

I use them to distinguish between the comments posted by others.  When using the Reply and/or Quote functions on a board like this, such comments often get intertwined and tangled.

Next thing you know, a normal guy like NORMALGUY appears to be saying something that “I” actually wrote.

Hilarity ensues, sure....but I like to try and stay tidy and all that
