Based on the attention this church and it’s Pastors are getting I am sure their popularity has risen, why is there so much focus on this topic, sometimes things are out of your control and you just have to let it go man. For those of you who believe in GOD let him be the judge,it is not within our right to be Judgemental. I was wondering when someone was going to ask when the Without Walls forum was going to come to an end. I know nothing of it, but I do know that it has completely gone from one extreme to another to another in 89 pages of repetitive argument. I don’t believe in God, I have actually tried to say the same thing to that Diego guy though. I’m not sure why him and others have thought they were going to accomplish anything by coming into these forums to pretty much annoy people. However, I do see things that sometimes I feel need to be addressed such as those who claim that those who don’t believe in God have no morale or ethics. I take that to offense, but have yet to start an argument about it simply because it’s easier to let those believe in what they may. All in all, that was a very fair statement to all parties. I do have one question (I’m not being condescending or trying to start any wars, I promise) Why is it that when someone on here speaks of God, they put it in all caps.. or the lord… I understand capitalizing the first letter as a name (as I have done by request of Michaela), but I’m not sure why the whole word.
I too normally would capitalize the first letter of the word God to show reverence and respect, since this is also a forum however where people believe in other spiritual being or higher powers or dieties, I capitalized the entire word to imply that I am speaking of the god of the bible.
You know people are entitled to their beliefs, but ones beliefs should never be shoved down someone elses throat, yes if asked I would say I serve the one true GOD and then I would explain the reasons for my beliefs and statements, if it appears that an arguement will ensue I then just politely terminate the conversation. I am a christian which means to be Christ Like and from some of the comments from people in this forum who also profess to be christians are not Christ Like.
Further Christian are supposed to love their neighbors, not just the ones that share our beliefs and teachings as that was not implied or specified but all of our neighbors it is a commandment. If you truly have love for your neighbor and you believe in GOD then you would not wish evil towards anyone not even the WHITES.
Intelligence alone should make us realize when we are deadlocked, and the “Without Walls” story is old and I am sure their are more important things to discuss like the wars of Darfur, when you put things into perspective the whole affair is quite trivial. - Well said! I as Christian do emphasize any reference to God with capital letters to show the Deity of God. It’s not a written rule but I feel like in a small way it give Him all the Glory in all I do. Kater, I try not to push my faith on anyone who doesn’t want to hear it. If any Christian tells you that you have no morals or ethics because you are not a Bliever than they aren’t following the true tachings of Christ. It doesn’t make them any less of a Christian, because in their heart they may be just trying to show you to Christ. Eventhough it may be unwanted. But they should never judge you.

VERY well said! I think you should post this where it will do the most good! I admit to having lost my temper, which is why I took a little break to step back, reflect and repent for my own anger at what I believe to be an unfair way of handling this situation.

If you really think that the thread was closed because of over posting, then you are daft. The thread was closed because of the content of some of the postings. If the Trib allows slander and libel as well as harassment to take place on a site they host, they become liable should any legal action insue. Trust me, having that site isn’t worth any amount of legal problems they might face.
If you go to another thread and continue any harassment, I guarantee that site will be shut down as well.

I have been very silent since this whole story broke a few weeks ago and have followed this forum since day one. While there have been times where I’ve wanted to speak I held my tongue simply because I believe in the Christian principle of turning the other cheek and because I believe that (1) Randy and Paula HAVE done wrong and (2) they are more than capable of defending themselves-even though there has been no real defense and (3) God doesn’t like ugly and that which you do unto his people will be repaid 10 fold. In essence, they are getting what they deserve.
That being said.....
I have no gripe against WWIC. Even though I was once a member I will never again BRIGHTEN their doorstep with my presence nor will they ever get another dime from me. What changed me? While sitting in services one day, Randy (he was still only the pastor then) was reluctant to talk about another one of their financial gains-a multi-million dollar home on Bayshore Ave. He didn’t want to deal with jealous people. A dim light appeared above my head, jealous people, I thought, and yet dismissed it.
Fast Forward a bit. Paula is now the pastor of WWIC and Randy becomes the Bishop. During a sermon I can not recollect (funny how I can’t really remember anything they preached on, I just remember the visual examples Randy began using such as the guy running on the treadmill) Paula stated don’t be jealous of what I have go out and get your own! The bulb gets a little brighter....where is it exactly you get what you have?
Multimillion dollar home on Bayshore, fancy cars, airplanes, jewelery, plastic surgery, the list could go on and on. Even though Randy does not like for you to ask questions I did and I wondered where is it exactly they were getting their money from.
Then the answer came: ME.
Maybe I could have dealt with that but in the end the people of WWIC helped me make up my mind about moving on.
The final straw came from the parishioners and I use that term loosely. I noticed in Tampa, among church goers, it is popular to say “I attend Without Walls” with an air of superiority as if that makes you better than the average church goer. How many times did Randy beg of his congregation not to ‘bother’ the famous and influential member’s who all sat down front and were escorted to their seats? This church breeds segregation and idol worship. At WWIC God is not first, The Father is not second and the Holy Ghost is no where near third. The hierarchy of WWIC is Money, the Whites, Christian Superstars, Money again, The Choir, More Money, and then the regular church members.
Yet, that is not why I am posting here today. What brings me to this moment is Jacqui Knight. While I hold no ill will toward her I must comment on her dual personality; the one she shows here and the one she showed at church. You see, I attended WWIC with Jacqui and I knew of her. Jacqui carried herself with an air of superiority rivaling that of Paula White. She had the attitude, the Holy attitude, that one can only acquire from intimate dealings at WWIC. In her eyes, she could do no wrong although she often said plenty of wrong to the people she passed...accidentally walk in front of her and watch her roll her eyes and huff. Her postings here are totally misleading. She may spout scripture but know that Jacqui will say and do anything to get what she wants. Joining WWIC was a business move and nothing else. She was the lady who ran for office, the WWIC inner sanctum member, a high roller...and yet she was nothing. Jacqui, you may fool some, but those of us who know you are not fooled in the least.
Thank God I found a great church with wonderful people who follow a true spiritual doctrine, not one that is made up on the fly. Church is suppose to be intimate and loving, your pastor should be available to you at all times! He should not require a body guard, limo service and plastic surgery. The experience with WWIC taught me discernment, not only for Churches, but also for Christians. I urge you all to find faith, hold onto to it, treasure it and protect it! Do not hand it over without knowing who your giving it to! People will come and go and there is no such thing as unconditional love...love is one of the most conditional things on this earth, even that of a parent. From God you came and when it is all said and done to God you will return.

The same things that you and others have accuused the Whites of you are now being accused of. You inadverntantly offended a fellow believer. I’m sure it was unententional. Just say you’re sorry. If you’re a Christian, the Bible says we’re to turn the other cheek, forgive 70x70, and especially if we have “ought” (fancy word from King James days) against a brother, we are to go them, especially before we take the sacraments and make it right. So a sister/brother who has ought against you came to you in a rather modern day form...the internet...and said, “hey, I was offended”.
