Who in their right mind will believe that having cameras at intersections will save lives? The drivers are all idiots, too slow, too fast, no blinkers, high volume, raged lunatics, lost, drunks, rednecks, then when the traffic starts flowing they don’t want to stop when the light is turning red.... It isn’t going to stop. It just means auto-ticket, auto-income for the authorities, the more the merrier, no need to pay cops, who can’t control the high volume of idiots on the road. Those who don’t know that there’s a camera, will continue to run the lights, only to become the next victims.
Hwy 301 and SR 60 are both death traps, people speeding and deadly collisions day in and day out, people trying to get in and out of the high speed traffic, get run off of the road or terrorized by the raged lunatics. They need to slow these roads down to 35mph, with cameras posted every half mile, cops every mile. It’s the only thing that can be done to save lives.
One of the main reasons that I am venting here is that my boss is laying in the Intensive Care Unit at Tampa General, because some raging Lunatic was speeding and decided to run a red light, at Sabal and 301, the boss on a Harley. Just imagine surviving such a hit, if he does…
