Bucs’ Preseason Finale

Luke McCown starred in the Bucs’ preseason finale, throwing three TD passes, while Chris Simms sat out with a hip injury, raising speculation that he might be placed on injured reserve.

Paris Warren had two TD catches but broke his left leg, and tight end Jeremy Stevens had an impressive night but lost a fumble in the third quarter.

As the Bucs now face their final cuts before their Sept. 9 season opener at Seattle, what - if anything - did we learn against Houston? Did McCown cement the backup quarterback job? Are you confident in the depth on defense, or the receivers after Joey Galloway?

And are the Bucs ready for the season, or do you see areas where they still need improvement?

It really sucks losing Paris Warren in the last 3 minutes of a meaningless game. Looks like Michael Clayton will get to make the team -Whether or not he really earned a place this season.
