ROMNEY’S RAP SHEET
Subject: ROMNEY, WILLARD MITT
DOB: 03/12/47
Place of birth: Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
Height: 6’2”
Physique: Described as “One of America’s 50 Most Beautiful"1
Place of Residence: Reliable information not available. Has variously claimed Massachusetts, Utah, and Michigan.

Summary
Subject ROMNEY has been arrested on two occasions, in Massachusetts and Michigan, and, per Utah law enforcement, been verbally abusive with sheriff’s deputy there. Known associates are currently under investigation for impersonating a police officer and fraud and money laundering.

Other Names and Aliases
“The Jobs Senator” (1994)2

“Team Reform” (c. 2002-2004)3

“Conservative Republican” (c. 2006-2007)4

Arrests and Other Contacts with Law Enforcement
WAYLAND, MASS. (1981)—ARREST- DISORDERLY CONDUCT.
In June 1981, ROMNEY attempted to launch family motorboat at Cochituate State Park despite park ranger advising that he was prohibited from doing so because his boat did not display proper registration. ROMNEY was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. ROMNEY handcuffed and transported in bathing suit to Natick police station, where released on own recognizance.5 Disposition: Charges were dropped when ROMNEY threatened to sue the state for false arrest; case dismissed at Natick District Court in February 1982. ROMNEY successfully petitioned that the files be sealed.6

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MICH. (c. 1965)—ARREST- CHARGE NOT KNOWN.
ROMNEY was arrested along with future wife Ann Davies for actions in connection with practical joke at Cranbrook Academy. Reportedly ROMNEY and several friends “bought huge blocks of ice from the local gas station, laid towels over them, and went sliding down the slopes of a nearby golf course."7

HUNTSVILLE, UTAH (2002)—USE OF PROFANITY WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT
On February 10, 2002, while overseeing 2002 Winter Olympics, ROMNEY became extremely angry upon encountering a traffic jam at a venue and proceeded to berate two persons authorized to direct traffic there, including with obscenity laced tirades, according to a police captain at the scene and a volunteer targeted by ROMNEY. The traffic volunteer Shaun Knopp stated that ROMNEY “asked me who the f___ I was and what the f___ I was doing. We got the Olympics going on we don’t need this s___ down here."8 Weber County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Terry Shaw, commander of the Snowbasin venue, stated that ROMNEY twice used the F-word while also berating one of his officers, Deputy Kodi Taggart. Capt. Shaw stated that ROMNEY “was abusive” to his officer and advised, unsuccessfully, that “he needs to apologize."9 ROMNEY denied part of the allegation, insisting he hadn’t used the F-word since high school—but admitted he used a word he described as “H-E-double hockey sticks.” Disposition: The Utah Department of Safety advised it had decided against initiating a “profanity probe."10

Known Associates
FABIAN, ALAN: Until August 2007, FABIAN was a national finance committee co-chair for ROMNEY. Now under federal indictment for mail fraud, money laundering, bankruptcy fraud, perjury, obstruction of justice and defrauding companies of $32 million in Maryland.11

GARRITY, JAY (a/k/a “Trooper"): Until July 2007, GARRITY provided security and advance for ROMNEY whom he codenamed “LXX”; GARRITY now under investigation in Massachusetts and New Hampshire for impersonating a police officer and other charges.12

HEALEY, KERRY MURPHY (a/k/a “SHERRY” 13): HEALEY recruited by ROMNEY as accomplice for 2002 Governor’s race; subsequently relegated to background role.

Additional information
POSSIBLE ANIMAL CRUELTY (1983)
In 1983, ROMNEY transported the family Irish setter, SEAMUS, in a dog carrier strapped to the roof of his Chevrolet station wagon during a 12-hour drive from Boston, Mass. to Lake Huron. No complaint was made or charges filed at time. However, Massachusetts law prohibits carrying an animal “in or upon a vehicle, or otherwise, in an unnecessarily cruel or inhuman manner or in a way and manner which might endanger the animal carried thereon."14

POSSIBLE RECKLESS DRIVING (date unknown)
According to a published account, “red lights make [ROMNEY] impatient.” Per the report, at a red light at an intersection in Boston, “There was a truck in front of him but no other traffic anywhere in sight… .So [ROMNEY] pulled out around the truck—to the left of the truck and then right in front of it—and made a right turn. Then, at the next intersection, where again there was no traffic, he stopped and then went straight on through a red light. And then, suddenly, a policeman appeared out of nowhere.15

ALLEGED BRUSH WITH INTRUDER (c. MID 1960s)
Subject ROMNEY maintains that while a high school student at Cranbrook School in Michigan he encountered an intruder in his dorm: ROMNEY, who says, “I figured I was dead for sure,” states he escaped the unknown intruder by jumping out a ground-floor window and running for help.16

Always fun to see a moralizing cat like Romney busted for using profanity to a cop.

But his various misdeeds pale into comparison of those perpetuated by his lead fund raiser - Melvin Sembler of St Petersburg, FL.

Sembler funded and approved of so-called “drug treatment” programs that were found to have tortured and sexually abused teenagers.

It’s all good.  Nothing much is going to get by the public at large during the coming 12 months and that’s a significant reason why Romney will be pretty much done with his Presidential campaign by early spring 2008.

The primary is in Janurary, “do you think he’ll win?”

That Romney Rap Sheet is long but it is total nonsense.
No Convictions.
Only once were charges made, and they were dropped.
You had to go back to his highschool days and bring up a couple of kids using blocks of ice to slide down a hill. You are absurb.  Why don’t you bring up Obama’s kindergarten essay?

You appear to be a rabid facist masquerading as a liberal. LOL, what a joke.

I refer you to “Common Mistakes Made During A Background Free Person Search

thanks peg for proving that mitt romney is the cleanest politician in america.

43 years ago you found that he was involved in a high school prank: using blocks of ice to slide down the slopes of a golf course… wow.

27 years ago a case of questionable boat regestration was dismissed… again wow… incredible.

And there was no investigation into romney getting upset at police offcials and volunteers screwing up the parking at the 2002 Olympics.

hell of a job peg… go on now.... and keep up the good work.

lol

Criminal record is very misleading. It means you have to actually be convicted of something. If you were a newspaper and Mitt was a private citizen he could sue you for libel. Even if he was convicted, a harmless prank in high school, not having a boat registered, swearing at an officer who screwed up the traffic for the Olympics would still be less than what any other candidate has done.

This just goes to show the pathetic lengths some of Romney’s detractors will go to. They can’t go after him on his record because practically everything he has touched has turned successful, so they resort to these smears.

The “reckless driving” accusations are pretty good too. Maybe if you could dig up some real dirt like changing lanes without signaling or speeding, then we’d be getting somewhere.

Also, I remember reading about the encounter with the officer. The whole encounter revolved around a traffic snarl during the Olympics. Always the hands on guy, Romney (as CEO of the games) jumped out of the SUV he was riding in and started directing traffic. The writer was actually impressed with Mitt’s handling of things. The traffic started to break up, but a few cops who didn’t like being shown up came up to Mitt and told him he didn’t have a right to be directing traffic.

Technically, the cops were right. But to me this shows a type of approach that the government desperately needs. Remember Hurricane Katrina? One of the many problems there was the fact that many people who wanted to help in the emergency were turned away because they weren’t “federalized” or hadn’t filled out all the paperwork.

It’s that type of bureaucratic mentality that keeps our government from working well. Romney is the candidate who I believe will not just get results with the current government but will actually reform the current government so that the rules make sense and people can actually do more.

I am a resident of Mass. and the record posted above is a bunch of crap!!  If you google your name ...guess what..you can have a list of all kinds of things.
That is why in this state, MASS. We have a CORI and SORI to prove a persons accurate criminal record that allows a person to apply for jobs, school, volunteer.

I suppose those that have a real boring life, might find the fraudulent record a real hoot! People who have little interests in their life get caught up in outragous statements to fill their lives.

You’re going to have to try a lot harder!  I keep asking about what each candidate proposes to do about illegal aliens, and Romney is the only one who has the right answer.  Secure our borders!
