TAMPA - Around the nation, there was shock and skepticism. Around the Tampa Bay area, there was excitement and unmatched school spirit, practically bordering on giddiness.

Spoken like a true idiot Gator fan.  It’s comments like this that give us fuel vs those hated Gators.
Let us have our day in the sun!  BULLS ARE TRULY THE #1 TEAM IN THE STATE RIGHT NOW!

How can you say something stupid about Auburn after we beat them in their place (don’t forget - we missed a bunch of field goals that would have made the score worse & not gone into OT) - You guys lost to them in your home!!!

Think about what you are saying first before you open your mouth!

Good morning to you too, snapper head!  I assume that you are either (A)not a resident of the greater Tampa area or (B), an alumni of one of the other state universities and is peed off that his team is not doing as well as usual.
I personally am having a blast. I graduated from USF in ‘92 and remember going to watch the basketball team with 3 or 4 friends and being one of 25 people in the stands!  It’s nice to have a little local school bust out onto the National stage and I hope they run the tables to really put a crimp in the plans of all of the prognosticators and pollsters who do nothing more than talk up the same 5 teams over and over and over again.
We tried to get the Gators earlier but the Gators would have nothing to do with us until ‘09- the Senior year for both Tebow and Grothe.  We played Miami last year and nearly pulled off the upset with them in Miami so get your facts straight before you spout off about subjects you know nothing about!
Lets see how the rest of the season plays out before you finish nailing the coffin shut on a phenomenal season .  Your comments about Coach Leavitt are way off base as well.  Keep getting personal when you can’t find substance- that’s ok.  BUll Country is several hundred thousand strong and your puny insults don’t harm us at all!

BTW everyone knows that Hawaii always covers all of the point spreads !!!

GO BULLS!!!!

To start I am an allum of USF and very happy to see the Bulls get so much attention.  I expect this will help in recruiting over the next couple of years.  While I no longer reside in Tampa (Atlanta now) I keep tabs on the homefront by surfing this website almost daily.  I have doubts that our Bulls are really the #2 team in the nation. BUT as long as we determine who is and who isn’t by voting and computer formulas, and not a playoff system, well you get what you get.  As for calling someone a “wife beater” or a cheater or any other slanderous label, you degrade yourselves and the schools you support when you do so.  Let USF have their day - to make it to the championship game they will have to go undefeated, and regardless of whoever they play - that is not an easy task.

USF has officially overtaken Hawaii as the #1 fraud of college football. The computers going gaga over a team which hasn’t really beaten anyone worth a darn, except a highly overrated Auburn team which was lucky to beat K-State and lost to Mississippi State and a West Virginia team without Pat White. It’s sickening to think a team which plays in a weak conference like the BIG LEAST can be ahead of far superior teams from the SEC, Big 12, and Pac-10. The BCS is supposed to be about the two best teams, regardless of record, something USF is definitely not.

USF is nothing more than the fourth best team in Florida. If the Bulls(***) were worth their weight, they would play Florida, FSU, and Miami. Of course, they had their problems beating Florida Atlantic in a playground stadium, so taking on the mighty Gators would be unfair. And Jim Leavitt is nothing more than a wife-beater who recruits every moron who can’t get into the big three schools, and the NCAA would have a field day with his illegal players. Saban was right on about this guy--if everyone in the SEC could recruit like Leavitt, there’s no way USF would get nearly the players they get now.

I get sick of people groveling over USF. Espeically that blithering idiot Mark May. Who the hell is Mark May? I guess playing for Pitt and the Redskins gives him the expertise to talk about college football, but I have never heard two sensible words come out of his mouth. When USF loses, or doesn’t get into the national championship game because of its cupcake schedule despite being undefeated, I want Mark May to go on the air and apologize to America for making such an idiotic statement about USF being #1.

Amen!  Amen!  I agree with you totally and LMAO at your “snapperhead” comment.  People like him/her are the reason some of us hate the Gators so passionately and wish nothing but losses for them.  Of course, this might have been written by someone from one of the other state universities, but no one seems to match Gators for pure hatefulness.  I also am a USF alumnus, Class of ‘81, and am very proud of the Bulls.  USF football wasn’t even a dream when I attended.  All that existed was Gators and Seminoles, and people chose one or the other to support.  I chose to be a Seminole fan, and I still am a Seminole fan.  But there is room for two good teams in this state.

There are three good teams in Florida, and USF is NOT one of them. USF is a wanna-be who has fattened up on a weak schedule except for an overrated Auburn team and a WVU team without Pat White. The BIG LEAST is so weak it isn’t funny, as evidenced by Syracuse, Pitt, and UConn, and there’s no way USF would ever compete in the other five BCS conferences.

And for all you pathetic losers, I’m a proud graduate of LSU. It’s great to be a Bayou Bengal, and that’s no BULL!

Wow! LSU!  It all makes sense now!  No wonder you’re p’d.  I’d be upset also.  LSU would be number one if they had taken care of KY.  They beat you in your own crib.  That sucks.  How did that feel?

Couple of questions for you, do they have newspapers in Baton Rouge?  Do those papers have websites with forums?

Why don’t you shoot them a few shoutouts.  Channel your anger.  Ask them why they ran the ball so poorly against KY.

I think the word you’re looking for is “winners.”

Ah, so it’s nothing but sour grapes over the loss to 17th ranked Kentucky.  Tch, tch.  You’re not showing any Bengal class, dude.

Why begrudge someone else their day in the sun?  You don’t hear USF fans yelling, “Go to he11, LSU, go to he11!” do you?

Bottom line - USF is undefeated; Tigers have a loss in their record.  The Coaches, the Computers, the BCS all agree.  Deal with it.

Have a nice day.

well said Techno!

All we can do is play the schedule that is handed to us.  I still think that the Big East is stronger than you think.  I would say we are on par with ACC & Big 10 or 11 -
We all will stroke your ego & say YES the SEC is the better conference BUT who is 6-0??? USF!  We deserve to be where we’re at.  If we keep winning - then butt out!

You can’t be sure USF can’t compete in the other five BCS conferences.  We’re talking about a team that is only 11 years old!  How old is your LSU team??  The Bulls have broken all kinds of records in being the youngest team to do accomplish something.  Give them a little more time, and I predict you will have to eat your words.

GO BULLS!

All this talk about the 11-year program is simply a way to pump-up the great job the “organization” of USF did, it has little to do with the players.  Has Grothe been at USF for 11 years, no, he’s a sophmore.  Just because Florida’s program has been around for 100 years, doesn’t automatically make it’s program the best in the country.  Get over yourselves and your history, what happens now is important, and we are winning, you are not.

Hey Joke before you start raining on USF’s parade, let me give you a history lesson about your own school.

LSU Bowl History
Overall Bowl Game Record: 19-18-1 - Man that’s outstanding, lot’s to brag about there!

First 11 years record 31-16

1990 Mike Archer 5-6
1991 Curley Hallman 5-6
1992 Curley Hallman 2-9
1993 Curley Hallman 5-6
1994 Curley Hallman 4-7
1995 Gerry DiNardo 7-4-1
1996 Gerry DiNardo 10-2
1997 Gerry DiNardo 9-3
1998 Gerry DiNardo 4-7
1999 Gerry DiNardo 3-8 - Real impressive decade the 90’s
2000 Nick Saban 8-4
2001 Nick Saban 10-3
2002 Nick Saban 8-5
2003 Nick Saban 13-1
2004 Nick Saban 9-3
2005 Les Miles 11-2
2006 Les Miles 11-2

Real impressive stats there!  In 11 1/2 decades of football LSU has never dominated, their record is mediocre. I’ll give you this decade, LSU has been good especially the last few years, but before you come to another schools forum you need to make sure you can walk the walk.  So stop being a real tool and just congratulate the Bulls on their current success and let the rest of the season play out.  It’s fans like you that make their school look bad.

To the moroon called USFisajoke....did you actually say that their are THREE good teams in FL ?
Are you actually calling UM and FSU good ?
You show your level of college football knowledge with that statement.
USF would embarrass UM and FSU(sorry guys this year it’s true)
You aren’t making any sense man....you just hate. Your boyfriend must have up and left you.
Sorry about your LSU Tigers....and I hope Auburn kicks your ass too.

When LSU kicks Auburn’s pansy a$$ in Death Valley this Saturday, you’ll be crying even more, which you’ll be doing anyway after Rutgers feeds your BCS hopes to the Jersey swamp devil. You are a joke and always will be. You are the fraud of all frauds. Man, the NCAA would have a field day with all of your paid recruits and academically ineligible players. And yes, your coach had a domestic violence collar, which is why he wasn’t hired at Alabama when Mike Price was fired. If the crown fits, wear it, Leavitt!

I want to know who all the morons are who have voted USF #1. All of them should never be allowed to vote in a poll again. They are truly STUPID. STUPID.

Dear moron,
Florida was the doormat of the SEC until Spurrier came back to his alma mater. Alabama has had a bad decade. So what’s your point about LSU? Let me remind you LSU won the national championship back in 1958...where was USF? The Bayou Bengals did not have a losing season between 1957 and 1974....where was USF? Hmm? So what about the 1990s? Your tradition is as deep as the wading pool at the local playground.
