OK. So we lost. We should have capitolized on some key plays, we should have got some calls in our favor, but that is ok. We need to focus on next weeks game. I am a USF fan and always will be. The fans did not put us at #2, the people and computers did. They did it for a reason. With this season going the way it has, it is anybody’s game. GO BULLS!!! I am behind you.
I like how a lot of people are now saying USF was never a #2 team in the nation. What idiots!!! It’s mid season and as of mid season they had won and and deserved to be #2. Arguing whether or not they are the best team in the nation is a stupid low brow arguement. Without a playoff you’ll never know who is truly the best team in the nation, mabe not even then (would anyone say the St. Louis Cardinals were the best team in baseball when they won the World Series!). I’m not an Ohio State fan either, but last year they were a better team than what the score showed in last years National Championship game. As much as the system is flawed that is also the beauty of College Football, especially conference play. You could argue all day long about which conference is the best, but even lowly Vanderbilt has played the role of upset artist. If you’re in any of the BCS conferences, including the Big East and you run the table you deserve a shot. One more thing which I’m sure will rile some people, if you put any top SEC, Big Ten, Pac 10, Big 12 or ACC team in the Big East, I guarantee you they would not run the table.
So, take a chill pill all those who have this bitterness toward teams just because some number is put beside them. Before the Bulls were even in the BCS, I simply enjoyed watching them play and cheering for my team. Which is what I plan on doing for as long as I live and who cares what the media or fans of other teams think. Go Bulls!!
I disagree. You take the top 4 teams in the SEC and they all run the table in the Big East. The only games would be USF, WVU and maybe Cincy. Would you rather run that gauntlet or LSU, UK, USC, UT?
There is a reason that 1/3 of the Top 21 BCS teams are SEC. That’s not just the human polls talking, so don’t tell me there is old school bias in the media.
A few near misses this weekend in the SEC. LSU barely squeaked one out on the last play of the game and Florida needed all 4 quarters to put away a pesky UK team. USF is still #10 in the BCS while the Gators are # 11. Big, big, big game this week at U Con and then of course, next week at RayJay against Cincy in the homecoming game. We need to run the table and get that Big East Championship to have a shot at a big bowl game.
The National Championship is still not out of reach since the computer poll is very friendly to us based on the difficulty of our schedule.

Go Bulls! Great win against Syracuse. Hopefully, this is a game that turns their confidence around. If they play that way again this week, they should handle Loisvile and then, Pitt. I want the freaking Noles in the Car Care Bowl!!
Talk about a dominating performance! Our secondary made a certain NFL starting QB look like a Pop Warner second stringer! With this victory, at least they moved back into the BCS Top 25 rankings ( #23) and can move up with a strong performance against Pitt and a loss by a few of the top 20 BCS teams. Car Care Bowl is not out of consideration, nor is the Sun Bowl in Tempe, either.
