Hey voice, your spelling is impeckable!

I don’t have my head in the sand, I just had not heard about chem trails before reading this thread. I don’t necessarily consider web pages, take it to the bank information.  Anyone can set up a website and publish most anything.  Has there been any mention in the main stream media?

What is your theory of who (or is it whom) is doing the spraying and what their desired result might be?

Thank you. I pride myself on the proper use of the English language.

ABC and Fox news have done stories on chem-trail spraying, along with WSVN in Miami. There was also a documentary done either by the Learning Channel or by the Discovery Channel- I don’t remember which right now, but a little research will point you in the right direction.

As far as my personal theories go, they will remain personal at this point. I am still trying to recover from the flu-like illness that started with Wednesday’s hazy skies, and that burning chemical smell. I work from home, and don’t come into contact with many people, so it wasn’t something I caught from a co-worker in an office. My co-workers are located in different states, and we communicate in a chat room.

Wednesday appeared to be just a normal yucky weather day to me.  Fog in the morning and cloudy in the afternoon.  I didn’t notice any unusual smell.  Are you in Highlands County?

I will continue to watch the sky, so far I have not seen any contrails that don’t appear to be normal.

Yes, I am in northwest Sebring. It smelled like burning chemicals. It wasn’t a wood fire, like a bonfire in somebody’s back yard- bonfires have a good smell (at least I think so). Also, the clouds and haze had a strange look, very much like some pictures of some chem-trails over SE Florida. I’ll have to find the link again and post it.

Continue to watch the skies. From what I have read, much of the information came from a now-retired senior FAA official. Also, consider that our mainstream news media are owned by huge conglomerates- ABC is owned by Disney, NBC is owned by GE, FOX is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who owns the Wall Street Journal and many other media and web outlets. So much of the news from the mainstream sources these days is filtered and dumbed down. I’ve been turning to BBC America for objective world news. Perhaps what is found on the web carries as much truth as what we get from the mainstream news media, where censorship is rampant.

So, today I saw in the skies above the Lake Jackson branch of the post office (behind the mall) white trails in the sky that criss-crossed, making “X"s and tic-tac-toe patterns. That’s a dead giveaway that these are not normal contrails produced by planes. I don’t think we had any air-shows in Sebring today, or it would have been in the paper.

By the way, it has taken me until today to be fully over the illness that I contracted on the 26th. This is NOT normal!

voice,

Glad to hear that you are feeling better.  Did you get a flu shot this year?

I did notice the contrails in the northwest sky as I was driving north on 27 about 1000 hrs.  I did see a couple of trails that crossed, but no tic tack toe patterns.  It looked to be normal.  Perhaps just a busy winter time schedule for the air carriers.

No unusual smells, except for me burning dog poop in a burn barrel.

I’m still interested in your theory of who and for what purpose, chemicals are being released into the atmosphere.

Hello!  Normal contrails disappear in a matter of seconds. Chem-trails linger in the atmosphere and spread out. At Albertson’s in Sebring, I saw one trail turn into a plume, spreading sideways and then downwards. I did my shopping in about 40 minutes, and came out to see the trails still visible. No smells in the air, but I kept my car windows rolled up, and our windows at home are still closed.

Many sources say that these chemicals are used for weather control, especially for keeping rain away. That would certainly explain the drought.

I’m glad I’m feeling better, too. I get a flu shot every year.

Contrails linger or dissipate depending on winds aloft.  Sometimes they last for hours.  I have flown jet routes 30-45 minutes behind other aircraft and many times their contrails were still very evident.

Why would anyone want to use chemicals to limit the rain amount in Central Florida, during a dry month in a drought?

Why would someone want the drought to be worse?

Perhaps the citrus growers in South America have contracted with the US Air Force, to have a bunch of tankers spray chemicals over Central Florida to reduce our crops?

Maybe they hired the Chinese to do the spraying......guess they would have to bribe the air control folks to close their eyes.......maybe it is OPEC, they have enough money to bribe everyone and buy their own tankers?

The water shortage will only get worse . Untill Our township / county planers think about future growth. I was on zoning / planing boards for 25 years up north . One of our major concerns was to preserve wild land ,not rezoning for every land owner that wanted to subdivide . Where are public services going to come from? Let the planning & zoning folks look at how many vacant lots are out there now before adding more . Impact fees collected today will not cover needed services required later .Put public services in place before homes are built & they need water ,fire & police protectin & these are only the start . Ask our officales to think ahead !!!

I’m sorry, but I can’t help but imagine you wearing a tin foil hat.

Planning or thinking ahead is not a requirement for public service. According to Commissioner Stewart, there are about 64,000 platted, unimproved, house lots in Highlands County. Bowing to pressure from developers is all part of the economic development equation.

Some new subdivisions are need, especially for affordable housing projects. But, we do not need more elitists with huge homes far outside urban service areas, demanding fire and rescue emergency services.

I’ve posted several links and given you a few words to google. Draw your own conclusions- I am not going to do your research for you. My thoughts are my thoughts, and I choose not to express everything I believe here. You may certainly disagree or agree.

Judging from the statements you have made, you are retired military. Military people, for the most part, believe what they are told by their higher-ups and follow orders without question, and believe that our government is always right, except for some of the younger ones coming back from Iraq. So, you are on the side that does not want to believe that noxious chemicals are being sprayed in the skies over not just Florida but the entire US and other countries, too. Perhaps you are even part of the group who wants to prevent knowledge of this from becoming known to the public. That’s fine. I have posted the links for anyone who cares to take a look. Now, I have to take care of my husband, who became ill yesterday after doing yard work outdoors all morning. He is one of those people who never gets sick, btw, but he is sick right now.

Well, I got into this discussion a little late and would not have until I saw this ‘chem-trail’ discussion going on. I had never heard of such a thing and decided to do some research on the internet where this whole conspiracy seems to thrive. My conclusions, for what they are worth is this. The chem-trails are being sprayed by the mysterious black helicopters. Seriously folks, what would be the purpose for the ‘chem-trails’? Why would the government want to destroy those they derive power from?  Maybe they really are just generic contrails that are behaving a little differently as a result of the warming of the atmosphere.
