TAMPA - Cities across the nation are dipping their toes into the surveillance pool, using electronic eyes at troublesome intersections and snapping incriminating photos of red-light runners.
Hillsborough County wants to jump in, too, having identified several intersections that authorities say are perfect for such cameras.

Cameras are a cheaper way to go when using security devices. It is a better way to show tha person was exactly there and your able to catch more breaking the laws. Cheaper for our court systems and our Police forces. Less not- guilty pleas.
Anything to make it more efficient and cheaper for taxpayers let alone what it does for businesses on theft.

Running red lights is not a crime, I do it everyday. I’ll stop if I know I’ll have to pay $$$$ for each one.
I don’t know that I’d brag about running red lights.
