Are you voting in today’s primary?

Registered Republicans and Democrats will vote on a presidential candidate for their respective parties.

All registered voters can vote on Amendment 1, which essentially doubles the homestead exemption and allows portability of a homesteader’s Save Our Homes benefit.

Tell us what you think about today’s ballot.

I voted a couple days ago.  I personally am hoping that Amendment 1 passes.  I especially like the idea of Save Our Home being portable.

I am headed to vote soon. I am voting NO on amendment 1. So, I guess that cancels out your vote for yes! smile

I voted no today on Amendment 1.  This amendment makes a grossly unjust system even worse.  It does not help small business people who need the most help.  This amendment is for the greedy people in this state who want all the benefits of living here but don’t want to pay for them.  Just because you got here first and never moved doesn’t mean you have more rights the everyone else.  It is not just people who moved here from out of state and want to buy a house, it is your kids and grandkids who will get stuck with huge tax bills because you wanted to keep your tax liability low.

If you believe small business owners should pay your share of Florida taxes, supporting Romney is a super-DUH.
