Our team has always been a ‘blend in and play some baseball’. But competitive teams are far from that. We’ve always been too young to have an vocal leaders, but C.C. who is acknowledged by many as one of the most versatile and athletic ballplayers (And who was once considered soft-spoken) is speaking up and taking a vocal approach-AND I LOVE IT! I scratched y head when we got rid of Delmon and Dukes because they were good ballplayers with a tremendous upside, but obviously they were cancers. I love what we’ve done this off season bringing in some new guys, and our rotation is extremely strong, young, and has a huge, huge upside. I love our guys, from Aki, C.C., and Upton-to Garza, Kazmir, and Shieldsy. Longoria, Breigniac and Price? Pshh...the Rays are on the brink of tremendous success! GO RAYS!
