Not everyone will have the same exact symptoms from eating the tainted peanut butter.  Some will have relatively minor symptoms while others will have severe symptoms.  No two people will react the same.  It will depend on your age, your health when you are stricken, etc.

There is a difference between stomach flu and food poisoning.  Most people are QUITE able to distinguish between the two. 

For anyone who has gotten sick after eating the tainted peanut butter, this is no small matter.  For those who have NOT eaten the offending product, seem to have a tendency to minimize the issue.

Companies such as ConAgra will and SHOULD take full responsibility.  And should also make it easy for consumers to extract a refund at the very LEAST.

I have two jars, one is almost empty with no ill effects. But I don’t plan to open the other jar, it will be returned or tossed!!

somewhere along the line conagra sacrificed safety for $$$$$$ , mark my words. this plant in sylvester, Ga dropped the ball.
plant should be shut down permanently. i have a simple question for product maker.. from what countries do you import ingredients from, all ingredients.

I’ve been reading what everyone is saying.....I just have to say this~some people seem to be getting bent outta shape~seems like it’s some sorta competition on who is the sickest! That’s preety sad~bottom line is~the company messed up~there are a lot of sick people~SOME MORE THAN OTHERS~I personally was fortunate not to have gotten ill~because I used it to bake with~doesn’t mean I don’t feel bad for those who have gotten sick! Just saying the discussion should remain about the facts~not a competition on WHO’S SICKER THAN WHO! JMO! Hope everyone gets their money back and feels better!

i think it is interesting too that there is no difference between peter pan and the walmart brand, why pay the extra money? It is all the same stuff.
