speak for yourself. I provide my own water -not the government, and not your conspiracy-rich “corporation”. I worry about my own waste water disposal as well -its called a septic tank. Its largely maintenance free. I end up digging a new drain-field about once every 15 years or so -when I do that, I also have the tank pumped out. The cost? Hell of a lot less than it would cost in monthly fees from the government or any company. Person to blame if things don’t work? Me. Person responsible for making sure it works? Me again. Response time before any action is taken? How long can you hold it? (grin).

I can remember when there were public drinking fountains on many street corners with water running all the time. (rather wasteful) Now it’s difficult to find a free drink of water.
Water really can’t be considered a basic human right because it has to be taken from somewhere. The same with food.

They do use alot of water than could be use by a human being and pollute more than a human being is allowed. When was the last time you were allowed to poop and pee on someone else property? Or even allowed to go into anyone’s house and use there bathroom anytime you feel like it? Why do we allow pet owners to to this? It it not safe fertilizers. Even chicken owners have to dry it before they sell it. Pets do polute we just tend to ignore it until we step in it. Hard to ignore it then.

Pets use a lot of water? Even a large dog likely doesn’t drink as much water as a human flushes down a toilet in 1 or 2 flushes. Urine and feces is excellent fertilizer when used with a little lime. Animal feces is dried before it is sold to reduce weight and because it produces methane gas as it decomposes. Aside from the smell, it would cause bags to expand and be a fire danger in large quantities.
While food and water aren’t a basic human right, urination and defecation have to be!
