Think, that is simplistic thinking at its worst.  God instilled within us the ability to choose for ourself.  Free will.  Personally, I couldn’t care less about someones’ sexual preference.  I honestly just don’t care.  But strictly speaking, in the Christian faith, the bible was quite clear that man was not to lie down (have sexual relations) with man.  That it is considdered an abomination is pretty clear.
But hey, take it for what you will.  I have friends who are homosexual, my wife has a son who is as well.  We don’t shun him, anymore than we shun people who don’t ride motorcycles (grin).

as for the ‘day of silence’ thing, its nothing more nor less than pure symbolism over subsstance.  Nobody is going to come away from it suddenly ‘enlightned’.  Heterosexuals aren’t going to suddenly develope some soft spot for gays or vice-versa.
Personally, I view this as nothing more than a bit of PC.  We may have a lot more tolerance in our school system, but failures with tolerance are still failures.  Bullies aren’t going to stop being bullies because of a day of silence.

Why do people, who claim to believe in a God who created everything, seem to have such a hatred of homosexuals? Your God must have created them the way they are so you should blame God.

Precisely, think. They were born with that lust in their body. Now what they choose to do about it (this is where the “free will” comes in) will determine where they’ll stand with God. If they give in to it, they will face the judgement.

I believe that actions speak louder than words.

You can believe that god created the world and human beings, ergo homosexuality is his deliberate design.

Or you can believe that the men who wrote the bible are expressing god’s words, and according to them, god wants homosexuals destroyed.

Does God really want homosexuals he designed and created, destroyed?  Then why did he design and create them in the first place?  Or is this just a test to see how cruel and viscious his believers can be?

This design, by the way, happens in about 7% of many mammal populations.  Does he want them destroyed too?

If there is a god, I’m going with his design, not the sadistic idiots who ignore the hard evidence and profess to know god’s “words”.  They’re no better than the ones who think killing pleases god.

YES, they are all diseased and should be executed with extreme prejudice.they are NOT normal and have NO RIGHT to force there way of life on me or my family.what i find really funny is they all say they are GOD fearing folk, talk about a moronic statement, IF there is a GOD he has already demonstrated his hatred for them.
Dave

Do you believe in creation or intelligent design?

If so, why do you hate god and jesus?

Let’s face facts here. I am a heterosexual male who only has “lust in my body” for good looking women.  I doubt that I could have sex with any woman with another man in the same room. Have you ever “lusted” for someone of the same sex? I doubt that most heterosexuals have.

Sexual preference is “wired” into the brain because the survival of the species depends on sexual reproduction. Somehow nature (or the creator) makes a mistake and doesn’t match the brain to the body in homosexuals. They don’t have a “choice”. Having sex with someone of the opposite sex is likely as abhorrent to them as having sex with someone of the same sex is to most heterosexuals. While women may be able to fake sexual arousal, a mans equipment won’t function if he’s not aroused.

You should consider that blame/credit are one in the same.

If you didn’t care, then you wouldn’t have posted troll bait.

I for one am glad my daughters male soccer coach is gay.  I don’t have to worry so much about him hitting on the girls.  And it’s kind of funny when he throws his little nellie fits.  It’s hard to tell him from the girls.

But if I had to try and coach a team of young teenage girls to play a sport, I might have a nellie fit myself.  It’s all I can do sometimes just to get my daughter to pick up her room.

But to the topic at hand, I really don’t think this day of silence belongs in the school.  Some could argue that this is free speech, but I’m not so sure that freedom of speech is protected on school property.  And if it isn’t, then this could be construed as the school board endorsing the gay lifestyle, by piggybacking the feather boa onto the anti-violence agenda.

Everybody is aware of the violence that happens to people in all walks of life.  If you are different, you will get picked on.  This little gimmick of a day of silence is going to be twisted into some tres chic trendy gesture by a lot of kids.  Some will believe in it, but a lot will use it for their own gain.

So what are we teaching here?  That if you squeal long and hard enough, you can get people to take notice and get preferential treatment?

Doesn’t sound like the lesson I want my child to learn.

Hey, I just answered the question.  MY salvation does not depend in any way upon yours or your fate.  I’m no crusader -never claimed to be.

This is not about God . It is about reality. Which is two people of the same sex can’t have sex. I learned that in school. There is no way of rewriting or teaching it.
But we haven’t cured one disease from it and another one is starting.
Our medical communities are not GOD. They can’t fix everything. There is only one way to have SEX. I sorry to tell everyone this it is STILL BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN. That is the part that has to be taught Loud And Clear no more SILENCE ABOUT IT.
Homosexuality is about a different way of co-habitating nothing more.

Well, actually, there is more than one way to have sex—so you can’t say two people of the same sex “can’t have sex”—they can and do, I would agree the sex they have is not “normal” (normal being defined what is the most prevalent kind). Reminds me of “oral sex is not sex” argument.
