First and foremost I am so glad my sons school is not on this list. I will not in anyway shape or form condone homosexuality or lesbianism. This is a chosen lifestyle. Blacks, whites, hispanic are picked on and ridiculed on a daily basis and I don’t hear of a moment of silence. Why should we make an exception for these people. This is an abomination to God.

I feel nothing but sympathy for homosexuals. No, I don’t promote, condone or approve gay/lesbian activites, lifestyles or events.
I’m against any kind of “gay” days, or anything else that appears to condone that behaviour.
Now, having said that, I do however, have tolerance for the gay community. I do NOT condone any kind of violence towards gays.
I don’t think having a “homosexual day of silence”, was such a great idea either. Because setting aside a moment of silence is usually meant for prayers, it does make sense that it would feel to many as though it was an approval of sorts for the gay lifestyle.
I would rather have seen the topic of tolerance brought up in class and discussed rather than observing a moment of silence. If anything, it may have just annoyed people, rather than having the effect that it was intended to have.

This is just one example (there are others) from just a cursory search. Only since you asked. Personally, I couldn’t care less and no, I don’t believe they should be ‘put to death’. Thats old-testament thinking -however, there should be little doubt that the bible does NOT condone same-sex behavior, nor does it condone sexual behavior between unmarried couples.
