WOW yourself, I thought it was “normal” for him to be “transgendered”? Also, if it is so “normal” to be “transgenered” or “gay” then WHY is there a male and female counterpart in every “gay” relationship?

Why, if someone was “gay” would they want to change their “gender” Does he like women now?  This person needs GOD not a doctor to change him!!! 

Gay people don’t want to change their gender. Transgendered people do. They are totally different. You evidently have no clue about this do you? Before spouting religious crap you should really do yourself a Google search at the least. You’ve made yourself look utterly rediculous.

Several christian groups have “programs” aimed at making gay people not gay but none have statistics that can actually show that it works. That’s because it doesn’t work. And besides that Stanton isn’t gay, he’s transgendered. He’s been under the care of quality, knowledgeable mental health professionals for some time now and seems to be handling it very well considering how he’s been treated by people like you.

Back to the topic - this Stanton character needs to find GOD and not look in Sarasota for a job - there are enough FREAKS here!!!

I take it today’s questions was if Sarasota should hire Stanton.  I say it’s none of our business here in Pinellas County or the Tampa Bay region in general.  We’ve done enough to ruin this man’s life.  Leave him alone.

I could care less if Steve / Susan (whoever) wants to wear a dress. The point is that his / her (whatever) brain is cross wired in some way and would have to raise the question of this person’s ability to run a multi-million dollar enterprise. I could not contemplate the city of Sarasota or any other city for that matter wanting to hire this person and deal with all the press and distraction that would come with it. This guy needs to get his girly thing done and move some place where he is not known and start over.  My other big question is what rest room is this guy going to use?

I don’t believe that was ever in question. He’s got a 14 year history of exemplary service that makes your point absurb.

His 14 year history was before his cross wired brain developed a short curcuit. His 14 year history is just that - HISTORY.
What is present and now is a person that has a brain that has shorted out and his good judgement does now need to be questioned.

If you were intelligent enough to actually educate yourself about what is going on in this situation and with transgenderism in general you’d know that this is not something that just popped up all of a sudden. He’s been dealing with it in some form his entire life.

Let me know when you have a real arguement.

Will all employers now have to reprint their job applications:

Sex - Male / Female / Unknown
The next thing you know with all the issues that come about from all these special groups of people out there, employers will have to retain legal counsel before they can hire anyone. Sorry, but with all the questionable issues involved with Steve / Susan (whoever) I could not contemplate anyone wanting to hire him / her (whoever).

I knew the next thing he was going to do was be involved in lobbying for transgender rights.
In a way, i hope the law will protect their rights, because the transgendered, those who believe they are transgendered, are discriminated against, and even abused.  I would hope to see healing and restoration for each transgendered individual to their true gender and sex.....but in the meantime it would be merciful to allow them to live their lives in peace, or at least as much peace as they can get, and hope for the best!!  I am not one to encourage a sex change at all, and i think it is a deviation and a defect , but they still have the right to live and work in peace as long as they obey the laws of our land.
it is scarey how there is so much pro transgender shows on tv, making everyone who thinks it is wrong or sick seem like we are committing a hate crime, when i do not think it is a good thing and do not encoutage it at all, but i do not try to hurt people for living their lives as they choose.
my son thinks he is transgendered, and it is the most awful thing that could ever have happened to us.
I would say, it is definitely not from God, but from HELL!!

Steve Stanton is an attention whore. He is getting more attention than he could’ve ever dreamed. He found fame and drama on the highest scale thanks to our media. I’m sure he thought that his original “I’m out of the kookoo closet emails” to employees was going to be the maximum drama possible. Thanks to the media he gets to take his drama show to the next level and beyond. Ignore him and he will go away..
