Not only should anyone involved in a cover up be fired, the county should stop funding the Chamber until all of the mess is sorted out, and the guilty are punished appropriately. The longer Mr Andrews remains silent, the more speculation will occur. The allegations suggest something far more serious than being overwhelmed at the fast growth of the organization.

Anyone who can’t set priorities to pay salaries and pay utility bills should NOT be serving in government. What are these people hiding?

Completely understanding your frustration, but, one thing to note.  The Chamber is supported by local businesses and memberships.  I don’t think it’s a governmental organization, nor does it receive funding from the County.

Though I’ve been known to be wrong.  If I am, please correct me, someone.

You are correct, it’s not a governmental organization.

I thought so.

At the least, it would be prudent for Mr Andrews to explain to “the Chamber” membership what went wrong.  As a local business owner, I would feel let down by these actions, if I were a member.  Which I’m not.  Thank goodness.

It is a shame that Mr. Andrews is going to hide his head in the sand and not reply publicly about this mess.  Everytime you try to have a little faith in a local government offical you get let down.

I am also a local business owner and a member of the chamber.  I most certainly feel let down.  when it comes time to renew, this whole scandal is definitely going to influence our decision to renew.
