I wonder why she dropped off of the body building/fitness scene. She was very popular in 2006 but then nothing. Joining the church should not stop her from continuing in the world of fitness.

Bodybuilding and what Ms. Bates was in, Fitness compitition takes full time training to compete in an NPC event. Most athelets bing eat afterwards and blow out like whales and then work really hard to regain that ripped look while dieting to the point of being seriously ill. Then they schedule a photo shot before the Jan Tana spray tan wears off. In other words they go through a lot to look good for a few days. Ms. Bates seems to hold her wieght much better than most. However, it is very hard work and without sponsor money or being independantly secure, it is very hard to compete.

Yes, I agree with you Spadguy. However, I believe she was training with Debbie Kruck (I’ve seen photos on Debbie’s web site with Amy being trained by her) and sponsored by some gym down there. I think she even won a contest in “06 that this gym (don’t recall the name) sponsored as well.

Well, enough about fitness, I do so hope that Ms.Bates continues her religious education and looks for ways to help others. I am feeling a little remorse about saying Mr. White appears to be a scum bag. He may have started out in his ministry devoted, and then the enemies of the soul (flesh, world, devil) corrupted his view of the offerings as a source of large income to himself. If he is sincere about his ministry, he should step down as Pastor and take a lesser position in the church he founded. As for Ms. Bates, I can’t be too down on a lay (unpaid) Minister.( I know you guys are going to have a field day with that). Seriously though, how can you slight a person who is volunteering thier time to minister to others and do works of charity. So I hope that is the case, and if so I would encourage Ms. Bates to stay the course, and Mr. White, step down for the sake of the Ministry you founded.

Lord, I thank you that You have promised in your Word to deliver us when we cry out to you.  I come to you on behalf of my loved ones and ask that You would deliver them from any ungodliness that maybe threatening to become a stronghold in their lives.
