The example you give is only one of many posts, by many different people. Of course, you pick the one that is absurd. There are other posts that some may find thought provoking.
Some ‘folks’ may find it interesting even if you do not.
In all forums, you’re going to get posts that you don’t agree with, that you think is crazy, etc. But there will also be posts that are very good. The forum in question, is no exception.

I don’t think he will win. Even worse if it is so close that the Supremes get involved like they did with Bush.
And what if Obama wins by popular vote, but not by the delegate votes that each state gets?
There is also talk elsewhere about assassination. This was mentioned on one of the major TV news channels. I find this very unsettling. Actually I don’t find that post quite so absurd. He’s only a bit over certain.

I learned long, long ago that any web surfing into links posted by forum friend OHZONE inevitably lead to various white supremacist and ReallyScaredBigots.com, with a dash of Anti-Man (all races and colors) on top just for spice.
Lest anyone think I’m a tad too personal, I’ll simply remind you of the adage most of our parents and trusted teachers shared with us. That is, you can tell a lot about who a person associates with by their general attitudes and demeanors.

I didn’t “pick the one that was absurd”, I picked the first one I came across. As Steve alludes to in his post, I’m already well aware of the type of sites that OhZone provides links to here, and they’re generally of an extremist, white supremacist nature. The rest of your reply goes without saying, but I guess you had to say it.
I don’t know anything about OhZone. I try very hard to read posts and topics with an unbiased mind. That’s difficult to do, as I’m sure most of you know.
Everyone at some point in time in this forum make excellent points, has something good to say, intelligent or articulate. I’ve also learned that everyone in this forum at some point in time make stupid comments, ridiculous comebacks and have idiotic ideas.

I’m glad you apologized. Sometimes the forum gets so intense. It happens to everyone at some point in time or another. People will say something out of frustration or anger that they normally wouldn’t say any other time. I know because I too am guilty. So is most everyone else in this forum.
Taking a step back to put things in the proper perspective helps greatly.
There isn’t anybody, or any topic in this forum that’s worth getting that worked up about.
Oh yeah, I’ve been there. Hell, it does happen when you’re as passionate as all of us here seem to be, about our subject. Take it easy Dave, and we’ll see you again soon.
