I had to chuckle a bit when I saw this picture on the Drudge Report’s front page yesterday. The photographer’s positioning of the microphones had to be intentional. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present, “Nation of Islam Obama.”

The Drudge Report didn’t label it, I did....and I wasn’t “bashing” Obama. I posted it for no other reason than how creative (or lucky) I thought the photographer was. I view this the same as I would ANY political-cartoon caricature. Oh, and you might as well shelf the outrage anyway, buddy. It’s not as though other prominent media outlets haven’t done the same with this or any other president.

Why do liberals label opposing opinions as “hate”? Is it because the other party then shifts dialogue to defend their justification and you don’t have to defend your position? Have you ever thought a person’s anger may be well founded? If you have a problem with free speech, just say so.
I wanted to attend the last rally here in Avon Park, but wound up in South Florida that weekend. I’m sure they’ll be another and yes, I’d like to go listen. Wanna go with? I’ll buy you a Sarah Palin bumpersticker and an ice cream cone afterwards...... if you behave.

Here is something interesting.., since we can make this the intelligent political discussion page, Emanual will likely retire after the midterm election due to his differences with the Obama people who wanted to push through the grand enchilada healthcare reform package according to a newsmax article I got in my email. You would have to google it to find it. He wanted to have a scaled down version according to them due to the concern about cost. He would be better working in Congress in my opinion. I’d like to see him get a powerful position immediately to kick some butt. I think his thinking is all wrong though. As a society we have a very short term memory and that issue is history…
